Michael W. Frolichstein, owner and creative director of MWF Productions,LLC.
Michael Frolichstein is a seasoned editor, director, writer and producer. After receiving his degree in Theater and Film from the University of Kansas, he obtained his MFA in Film Production from Columbia College in 1999. Michael worked in commercial and television editing in Chicago at Cutters and Optimus. He then worked as a freelance editor on the sports news magazine show Adrenaline TV and the series Preps, which aired nationally on Fox Sports Net. During this time, he also taught editing at Columbia College. In 2003, after a move to Los Angeles, Michael edited programs including: A & E Biography, Outer Spaces on HGTV and Live Like a Star for Fox. Michael has written, directed and produced two well-received short films: Adventure Day and Dogwalker. In addition to both films getting festival play, Dogwalker aired locally on WTTW’s long-running series, Image Union. Michael just finished his first feature length documentary, The Celiac Project, which he wrote, directed and edited. Michael is also an experienced photographer. He lives with his wife and two young daughters in Evanston,IL.
